Wherever the abuse occurs, we bear the burden of knowing we have failed so many children.

~Marci Hamilton - Child USA

Dear Survivor & Supporters,

Let’s talk prevention.

Survivors, what someone has done to you is never your fault and you were not responsible for preventing it. Period.

Institutions and adults caring for minors do carry the responsibilty to prevent sexual harassment, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, sextortion, and bullying.

Your partner in prevention,

Christy

Prevention looks different at every age and stage of life. The hard cold truth is that we will never be able to prevent child sexual abuse or adult sexual assault and harassment 100%. However, my lived experience and research shows that with prevention knowledge, we can reduce the harm caused, we can prevent some abuse, we can identify predators and red flag behavior, and we can keep kids safer.

Want to know how to prevent child sexual abuse and sexual assault?

You’ve come to the right place

I attended the child sexual abuse prevention training course provided by Christy and it was organized and very informational. As a Family Law Attorney, I have recommended the course to clients and colleagues. Her personal family story and her passion make this training a must for any adults who have children they love in their lives.

Proof that Prevention is Possible

I was a victim of child sexual abuse so I taught my kid since they were 2 y/o about consent, unhealthy touch, autonomy, and to speak up when their boundaries were crossed. They did exactly what I taught them when their teacher touched them. Together, we got a child molesting teacher removed from teaching where he had been molesting students for 7 years and put in prison.

That incident opened my eyes to how schools, youth-serving organizations, and other parents lack the knowledge required to prevent child sexual abuse. Determined to change that, I received education, training, and volunteer experience from Harvard, Cornell, and several other non-profits on sexual abuse prevention.

I then founded a non-profit called Educate to Eliminate to train youth-serving organizations how to recognize red flag boundary-crossing behaviors and reveal predators within their organizations. I have trained hundreds of parents, employees, volunteers, and administration of institutions and organizations on how to predict, prevent, and respond to child sexual abuse and sexual assault.

I have equipped parents and adults with the knowledge and language to empower the kids in their care to understand consent and boundaries at the earliest age possible. I have provided the skills to have the conversations that lead to kids sharing if someone has made them feel uncomfortable.

The non-profit was too difficult to sustain because it required a whole team with grant writers, donor relations experts, etc. Now, I offer prevention training as one of my services.

Your Words Matter

This training is a game changer. I attended this training hoping to learn about how to spot a child predator. Instead what I learned is the framework I can put in place to not have to spot a child predator. Setting boundaries has changed my life and allowed me to live in less fear about my daughter. I also took steps to set boundaries around a family member that makes me suspicious. I feel more empowered and educated about this issue. I also learned important techniques on how to speak to my daughter about her body. Christy has not only the statistics, but the tools and action you can implement in your own life. This training way exceeded my expectations and should be mandatory for parents and educators.
